This battery terminal is designed to sit between your battery and your original earth cable, able to easily cut off your battery without any tools.
 
This item is suitable for disabling cars to be stored for long periods of time, with the aim of retaining battery charge. 
 
Alarms, Radios, Central Locking and other devices can put a constant parasitic drain on the car's battery when parked. Enabling this cut-off device will interrupt this drain, but will also stop the operation of such devices.
 
It is recommended that this item only be enabled whilst the car is in a suitable and secure location.
